Community Organizing

Residents, working with an Old Northeast, Inc. Model Block community organizer, create a vision or goal for their block. ONE facilitates discussions and actions that turn collective ideas for neighborhood improvement into tangible results. Before ONE initiates building projects, 51% of surrounding property owners must support a development plan. Homeowners who participate in the Model Block Program may also be eligible for grants and low-interest loans to make improvements to their property.
